My J10 lost a shockmount due to rust and the LR spring mount ain't so far behind. Will need to be fixed before the trip out.

Anyway, got this pic and don't feel so bad anymore

Did you actually drive it with that load and a spring mount near failure?

Nope, my brother did. I kinda figured he'd do something like this so I pulled the rotor thinking he wouldn't figure it out. Guess not:rolleyes:

urrf..its neat an all but really want to drive that x-country? There's plenty of cherry trucks out here for less than the gas will cost..

Out of spite, but that's a whole nother story. Prolly won't ever leave NY again, or that farm... I just thought it'd be cheaper than a Uhaul to get the rest of my stuff here.

when i worked in a warehouse with my brother, i let him borrow my p/u to run errands and get lunch while i was drivin the big truck for work. he told me one day about how he went through a parking garage and didn't feel like it would fit (truck has a pro-tech cabguard with lumberstays that stick up above the cab). he said the clearance sign was hanging funny because someone hit it so he went around it. http://sore4x4.com/forum/images/smiles/tard.gif he proceded to tell me how he avoided most 'low points' in the garage but he was still really nervous. he said the clearance of the garage was 6' 4". slightly amused, i pulled out a tape measure, and all be darned if my truck wasn't just shy of 6'6" at its highest point. i was still quite amused as he didn't hit anything, but i told him never to pull a stunt like that again with my truck. ;)
