I noticed besides the clock dimming and the dash lights coming on when I hit the brake the gas needle drops. Sounds like grounds and when I hit the brake it looses it.

sounds like the dash ground check under the drivers side up above the flashers you'll see a black cluster of wires bolted to the dash
