Jeepers,

I have changed the wires, plugs, cap and rotor. The vacuum fluctuates rapidly from 0 to maximum, but I am not running hot. The PO removed the thermostat and I have since replaced. Is there any way to determine if I have a cylinder to cylinder blown head gasket ?

Thanks in Advance

is this the 500$ jeep from tj? spose a compression test would tell the tale. could also just be be a major vacuum leak or egr troubles. are you losing coolant? whats the oil look like? if none of the above symptoms check out the brake booster thats the largest user of vacuum. also check carb bolts /spacer plate/ gaskets etc for leaks with carb cleaner. good luck!! this spring i bot a 535is bmw for 600$it has a brake demon i havent gotten to the bottom of. http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif
