Well, after over a year of service to me, the Wag is going to get its final few hundred miles in the next few weeks. I have decided after I get my next check I am going to throw my Jeep on Ebay, just to see what it gets. I will probally set the reserve kinda high. If it hits the reserve good. If not relist with a lower reserve. I dont know what I will be getting next, but I will always remember this Wagoneer as my first car, and probally some of the best memories of my high school life.

I finally got redemption for it too, pulled a TJ (same one that helped me) outta a mud hole tonight. Then to pour salt in the wounds I blasted through it once again for a lasting memory. :fsj:

On Friday it will get a very thorough cleaning. I expect to pay upwards of $15 bucks washing the interior and exterior.

I will probally frequent the boards for awhile. Most likely lurk. Maybe head to Ouray this summer to watch some wheelin. Maybe catch a seat with someone?

Anyways, you guys have been a major help to me in my times of need, and I hope to return to FSJs in the not so distant future.

:drivin:

Good luck selling it.

BTW, you can lower your reserve price DURING the auction.. You dont have to relist it.. My advise though, would be to just put it in a fixed price auction with a buy-it-now and a make-an-offer option.. Peoples offers are good for 48 hours IIRC, and you can choose to accept, deny, or counter it anytime during that time frame....

So are you saying that if I set the offer kinda high, and it gets to where I want it, I can lower the reserve?

If you set the reserve high, you can lower it as the auction moves along. You cant however lower it below the most recent bid.

As far as the Make-An-Offer option, that is only available on a fixed price listing. So, instead of an auction style auction, you can list it with a Buy-It-Now price of $1000 (for example) with the option to Make-An-Offer.. That way people can just tell you what they are willing to pay, and you have 48 hours (I think) to accept, deny, or counter their offer..
