does anyone know where i would start to look, or what would fit a 1971 gladiator, i am looking for a 4 core radiator, so far all i have found is one for a scout, i am thinking i might want to go with an aluminum radiator, does anyone have any thoughts??

I lucked out about 6 months ago and bought a radiator on Ebay from the Radiator Doctor(888-252-0333).It was a 3 core heavy duty lifetime warranty, same Modine that was in my GW,for $145 shipped and got it the next day. From what Iv'e read and learned over the years a 3 core HD has the same cooling capacity as a 4 core in a lot of applications.Hope this might help.

i am running a plow setup, and it overheats on me at 40 mph and higher, interesting though that the 3 core has the same cooling cap that a 4 core does, also will be looking at a dual elec fan setup. i have already dropped a 160 thermostat into it, but no luck there,

Yes in a lot of applications a 3 core does but not in all.You might want to go back to 180 thermo to let the motor warm up properly in really cold weather.I went to low on thermo on my Monte Carlo and she didn't seem to run as well in cold weather.Have you flushed the block, heater core and radiator out? Also timing advanced to far or running rich will cause it to overheat(if you didn't know this already).A pusher electric fan would be a good idea when you have the plow up restricting airflow.Maybe ask CrazyJeepman about this or someone who's running a plow setup.

i am in need of checking my timing, the truck is getting an exhaust on it, so i will be able to hear the engine finally and will be able to make soime better adjustments from there, also with an exhaust on it i should be able to smell if it is running rich or not, for now all i smell is carbon monoxide. lol
