Well I found out why I had low oil pressure. NO OIL! Yep, I let the **** thing get low. Don't ask why. My mechanic chnged the oil. or i should say put oil in it. He said it was tough to get started. The next day it was making a terrible clicking sound. I thought it was the engine but turned out to be crank shaft against a dust shield. The mechanic said it could be due to the damage to main bearings and more movement in the shaft. He removed the dust shield and the noise stopped. I rechanged the oil and put in 20w50.
Now I here a clunking noise ( only at lower speeds). Everything is fine while cruising even the oil pressure is fine. Is it the main bearing?
If so how long before somthing serious will happen? What is the fix?

If you ran out of oil, you probably need to tear it down and fix the damage. I would certainly pull the pan and check bearings on crank, especially the #7&8. Good luck.
