Here's some pics of my 'new' 86 Jeep GW with the 6" lift moved over from my old 88 GW with a rusty/cracked frame. Just in the process of finding the right tires now. I want 33X10.5 and the only one that comes in that size is the BF M/T. Any other suggestions?
Does posting pics in the body not work? I used the "Insert Image" link but only shows the links...
Here's a shot before the lift

Here's a few after...

Loving it!
I like my BFG 33x10.50s but Im going with 35s next time around. The 33's just dont compliment a big azz wag @10.50 :(

to post pics in the body (assuming you have them hosted online somewhere that allows remote linking), you type the following (remove the spaces):
[ i m g ] http://www.insertaddresshere.com [ / i m g ]
That will allow the pic to show up in the body.

Ya, that's what I did but it just inserted the links as you see it. Hosting is Google. It seems to work everywhere else properly. The picture also shows when I insert it creating the message.

try hosting them for free at www.fullsizejeeps.com (http://www.fullsizejeeps.com) (run by an IFSJA member), and it'll allow free remote linking.

Tiny ones.
J/K. Lift looks good! Now for some 33's, eh?

Haha tiny ones is right. They're very worn 31x10.5 A/T. Should have 33's in a week or so!

You can try a 255/85/16 tire - that is about the same as a 33x10. A 285/75/16 is roughly 33x11. That will open a lot of tire options, but you will need to change to a 16" rim.

Try Interco... they have interesting sizes, including my 34x10.50s... and they are not NEARLY as bad onroad as I had heard they would be. A nice hum, a great look... 33.6 inches tall... they also have radials in different sizes from everyone else.
I got mine at 4WheelParts...

The 34x10.50s should fit my GW with the 6" lift, shoudn't it? Anyone else tried this size? Can you elaborate on not nearly as bad onroad? Is it just a noise/vibration issue or is there a traction issue also?
Thanks!

BFG make a 33X10.50R15 in the Radial Long Trail, Mud Terrain, AT KO's just to name the ones off the top of my head.

Yes... I have a narrow track Cherokee which is just like your Wag.
The LTBs, which I bought because they're inexpensive and I mostly drive mine on the weekends, are probably Interco's loudest tire onroad. The 10.50s are narrower and therefore not as loud. I wouldn't recommend them if you're driving yours daily. They are bias ply, they flat spot easily (but they round out within a few miles of the house), and they're hard to balance. However, Interco makes radials in the same sizes or close to it. They make several tires that are narrower than normal for their height.
Don't get me wrong... I drive my truck a lot on the weekends, including on the interstate and on twisty backroads and have no problems with them. I'm just willing to live with the little quirks that these tires have. Radials don't have as many quirks. And, of course, IMHO, nothing has the "look" of TSL Swampers:

Paul, your pic reminds me of a question I wanted to ask. Your black grille, did you paint it? Or what?

I just cleaned it up good, went over it with some steel wool, and sprayed it with cheap Walmart black paint. I really didn't have anything to lose since it was starting to flake pretty badly in a couple of spots. I also have a final style grill that I'm eventually going to do something with.
