OK finally got the oil pan back on and started it up and now it runs really rough on idle. I can't believe it's related to the oil pan swap. I was originally thinking it was a vaccuum or EGR problem but everything checks out, It's only doing it at idle, it barely stays running.
Any input?

Possible PCV system problem. Double check vacuum hoses, and do yourself a favor and hook a vacuum guage and mount it to your dash permanently so you can always monitor your engine.

Phil,
I replaced the PCV yesterday.

What vaccuum source would I use for a interior gauge?

I have only been able to find the two nipple type... I have tried most all in town. I guess i will have to goto the jeep dealer.

Mine is hooked up to the largest hose as close to the rear of the intake manifold as possible. I bought the appropriate sized line and one of those universal "T" connectors from the "HELP" section of the auto parts store and hooked it all up.

Vacuum guage............................................. .......$8
T................................................. .....................$2.50
8' of vacuum hose.............................................. ..$3
Knowing how my engine is performing at all times.......Priceless

I know, it's now a bit cliche but, I still get a chuckle from it.
