I was looking at your web page and saw that real big manly man low range lever on the tranny hump and it sure looks better than the little flag on a wire thats standard.
Since I havent installed a lever to my low range yet (locked in Hi with jeep part 25-228793-0027 "coat hanger" $98.00 per foot at jeep dealer). My last truck had a 4 speed stick, a np203 and a Prev.Owner installed Clawler box in between. Three (3) levers. http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif Muy Macho.
So how did you make it work? Gotta have one.

When I installed the QT I had to figure away to do it. I also installed a florr shifter at the same time since I was not able to install the steering column from the '79, different story. The floor shifter came with two different threaded rods, one straight and one bent. I used the bent one for the LR, this allowed me to get the tranny shifter and the Low range shifter in the same area.

It is hard to explain. I will take a pic this weekend and do my best to get it on my site. If you want you can give me a call at (520)782-4896 and I can explain it much better over the phone.
