the wagonmaster routinely finds low mileage wagoneers, gives them a semi restoration (more of a cleaning due to his selectiveness of what vehicles he even accepts) and then sells them for outrageous prices (20,000+).

i have no idea if there were any rare color options for these trucks, but i would doubt it. either way, there isnt much of a market for these trucks so even the most rare of options arent too highly prized or valuable.

You in Texas? Maybe go pay WM a visit and see if he has records on the Waggy? :)

PS...congratulations on graduating from the little Jeeps to the big arena! :)

Welcome! There are many opinions on what colors are rare but it seems to me that the Spinnaker Blue and Bright Red are the most unusual.

. When you stop to consider the sticker price of a recent model Grand Cherokee, and compare sheetmetal thickness/body integrity, beefiness of frame, etc between the recent model and one of our old dinosaurs restored to near perfection then $20K+ is probably not too far out of line. That it sucks that one would have to pay that price....oh well.... Just another subtle indication--along with gas pump figures--of just how puny our dollar is these days.... :(
