rear window channel guide

are they the same from a newer gw to an older 76 wt with a manual rear window.im goin to the junkyard in the am

Pretty sure they are Mark.
I had ones from an 85 in a 79 tailgate and they were a direct match for the new ones from BJ's that I put into the 68 tailgate.
I think the only think that won't work is using the reproduction ones from BJ's with the glass that has the chrome trim on it, looks like thicker glass too. I just used the newer glass in the older tailgate.
EDIT:
BTW, they were really quite cheap from BJ's, much less hassle than pulling down a tailgate only to find they are rotted 1/2 the way down.
