wagoneer with bucket seats and floor shift auto?

I was looking around at a junkyard today and saw an early 70's wagon with bucket seats real similar to commando and floor shift auto and console similar to commando. The console was longer than the commando but same styling and the air conditioner unit fit where the glove box would be. Is this something unusual?
