Wouldn't you know it, after years of being part of this site, I have finally got my Grand in the auto hobby shop at Lackland AFB and will pull the engine out tomorrow. Working alone and all thumbs, I have the engine bay clear, labeled, photoed and logged. Hopefully I didn't forget anything. I have a blown head gasket that I know of but so far, only one broken bolt removing things. PB Blaster works great. I'm still thinking of a Diesel swap but just for pure cussedness, I'm toying with the idea of making this 360 the best I can. Providing the block isn't cracked. I've taken pics but since I don't have internet at the house, Ya'll will just have to wait untill I can post the whole series.
Cheers,

Bryan,
I could use that 'Elixir' in my old arthritic joints . . . er . . . . uh . . . if I were that 'old', you understand.
Dropped the engine and am in the tear down stage. Unfortunately, they're not open on Sunday or Monday and unlike RAF Lakenheath in England where I came from, these guys don't pull 'All Nighter's' complete with pizza delivery. They even close early on Saturday when most guys want to (and have the time to) work on their vehicles.
I'll keep posting as I go along.
