It looks close, but I cant be postive that is is one. If it is, it would have to be the one with the 8.5" ring gear instead of the 7.5" ring gear one...

That peak in the top makes me think that it is not though.. I am pretty sure that the cover should be oval...

Are there not any stamps on the webbing?

looks like a 10 bolt to me too! has the ears on the bottom and all. I have a 10 bolt in the front on my chevy 3/4 ton buggy build up project and it looks just like that!

10B for sure.

On a side note, I do not think GM made any 7.5" 10B front axles. All the 4wd's that got the 7.5" 10B had IFS afaik.

Unfortunately it is indeed a 10. BUT! Why would anyone want to mount up a 10 bolt?

cause its an upgrade from a dana 30.. and a slight upgrade from a 44. also it is 8 lug so he can run it with his 70 rear untill he finds a 60 front.. also it has 4.10 gears. which is what we think the 70 rear has. not sure though we just counted how many times it took to spin the yoke to make a complete turn. anyways I will keep you guys up to date on how long its going to last with 39's. oh ya and it was free.

They are also a dime a dozen so parts are easy to find, and they are already SOA and a complete bolt in.
