Is there anybody out there running Rusty's 3.5-4" AAl kit that uses the replacement front spring and the AAL/block in the back, that could give me some feedback? Any problems or suggestions? How's the ride?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

While I dont have a rustys lift (yet) everybody here seems to say that the kit flexes well and has a nice ride. The back will be stiffer with the rear AAL's. I a sure somebody here is running it and can tell you how it rides.

I don't have this kit either, but I'm seriously considering it. The price is $300 cheaper than a BDS kit from my local 4x4 shop (I wonder about their pricing sometimes!).
I like the fact that Rusty's kit combines a small block and an add-a-leaf in the rear rather than one big block. I personally think this is smarter because it should help reduce axle wrap.
I'm curious to know how good the Rusty's Hydro shocks are that come with the kit. I've never been too concerned with shocks, but I'm curious.
That's my two bits.

I've been running that kit w/ 31's for about six months or so.
The ride is good. A little stiffer than stock, but still nice IMO.
I have not done any serious off-roading, just some mild trails, and have not had any tire contact in the wheelwells. The 31's rub a tiny bit during full-lock turns, but I think that this is a wheel spacing issue not really a lift issue.
The shock seem adequate for the price.
It took me one full day to install by myself with just handtools (I am no mechanic, so results may vary)
I do not have a dropped pitman arm and don't notice significant bumpsteer.
All in all I am very pleased, but think that I will get a full spring kit for my off-road project.
I hope this helps.

I have the Rusty's 6" kit with the Rusty's shocks. However, I can't give you a report on the shocks yet as I'm not back on the road yet. As soon as I am I'll post some feedback. smile.gif

Thanks guys for the input. I think I will go with this kit, because financially, it makes the most sense right now...hahaha. I'm not overly concerned with flex, as I don't do anything too hardcore with my J10, that I would require alot of articulation.
I'll let you know how it goes.
