Engine Color

Have a 1980 2dr 360. The motor should be painted all amc blue. Right?:confused:

I'm Not Too sure on color, But my 78 401 is that weird blueish green color....I think that is what color it should be......Is that true?... If so where can I find that paint too? preferably in a spray can.....My jeep really needs some new engine paint! .....I did my TH-400 trannyy oil pan in GM orange and I just want to match the color for each part to the original manufacturer:cool:

the 79 j20 and 79 golden eagle that i just picked up both have that blueish green color for the motors.

I believe the 1973-83 engines were the amc blue and 84 up black. the blue can be purchased in spray cans from eastwood for about 10 bucks, item # 100582 seymour paint.
