Anybody done business with them lately? I placed an order 2 weeks ago, sne an email about a week ago requesting a progress report and never heard back. Sent another email sunday requesting to cancel my order due to a change in direction of the project. I would really like to resovle this easily and don know where else to turn...suggestions?

Did you have any direct (phone/email/etc) contact with them?

That site was for sale back in February...

...I am not sure if there are new owners or not, but I do know Joe is a standup guy and would never intentionally ignore your request.

I sent him a couple of messages a while back with interest to buy the business..

He never replied...

I have purchased a few parts from him in the past (including prototype bumpers), and he was a real good guy to deal with..

ill give him till next monday then i will file through paypal. i could understand if he is having personal issues...it happens to everyone. But i dont like my money floating around somewhere with nothing to show for it. A simple email in return from him explaining the situation is all i need.

I sent an E-mail through the "send E-mail" option to Jode in regards to those rhino style grills he has posted, I got a response a couple days later that he was in Switzerland and when he got back this week he had to leave almost immediately for a week long meeting out of town, so he may not have access to E-mail at the moment.

All, I think we have this resolved. Thanks to those with the kind remarks and a huge apology to those affected in a negative manner. PMs and emails sent to affected parties. Let me know if anyone isn't covered.

Based on Joe's history here I was pretty sure this would work out well.
Stuff happens to people, most of us are not big corporations, we feel the same pains as everyone else.
I'm very glad this is getting closure.
In the future let's (all of us) try to remember we are a small family here.
IFSJA may feel big, but it's really a small nitch group, everybody knows somebody, that knows someone else.
Please contact a Vendor Mod first if it is something you are unsure of how to handle reguarding an IFSJA Vendor situation, that's why we have Vendor Mod's in place.
Thanks,
Tad
