Tad, you know I love you but I HAD to!!!! Anyway - the captions were Flint's idea. And I'll have you know that all of the photos from the Jose Cuervo Black night have....er....uh.... disappeared. So, please remember that before you retaliate with the Alien Eye Bra picture!

Dang Tad! Did you bend the spring when you fell in the hole? I didn't think you hit it that hard! Sorry you had a lousy trip home.
Meh.... it's always something, aint it? :banghead:

Great pictures :) Seemed like a fun time even still.
Probably bent it there in the hole, didn't notice it until the 208 started to act up in Wilcox. I think I have a spare, if not, upgrade to new hangers and the 44044's.
T-Case is probably minor, we've seen 208's come back in missing chunks of the case and still function.
Lousy?
Naw, was one of the better trips that I can remember. I'd do it all the same without a thought, it's just broken stuff.
No Jeeps lost, No one hurt = Good Trip

 Beautiful beautiful pic's. Looks like ya'all had a great time. Krista, was that just some Dexron on your finger that you were trying to fling out the window?:D ;)

I think that's on Emily's phonecamthingy, but that's going to make one heck of a good sig line/quote.

So, now it makes sense the sound I heard when you tried to back out. The axle and tire were willing but reckon the spring was not... :(
LOL! Just remember.... this is a family site. :o
Nevermind.
I just remembered the moth incident(s).
It's fine. move along, nothing to see here...

Yes, I run a welded 14-Bolt in back, sort of explains how I got past the berm on the ATV track and into the hole. Locked up front probably would have just done more damage up front in silt that deep, and yes, it's my rig, I was driving.
Dare I ask what else the ranger had to say?:o
He was actually very polite, helpful and professional.
They are much more concerned with the ATV's tearing up riparian areas than a few respectful FSJ drivers out for a day trip.

That's good stuff. I see Flint finally got a haircut...Or, is it in a ponytail?
Nevertheless, good pics guys. Man...Makes me want to move out there...Umm, that's if you can accept an RC into the mix.

This appeared to be a alternate track back over to the main creek bed when we first turned on it, then quickly became an ATV trail. The ranger told us this area was a playground for them. The actual sequence was Tad turned up a berm to get out of the tight bank and shortly drove into the washout because it was in stealth mode behind all the vegetation. :o The ranger was friendly and informative of the area. A lot friendlier than most we have met at Mesa Verde. We consider them jack booted thugs. :D Krista and I both looked at each other like Oh S*** when he pulled up. If you are caught off the road at Mesa Verde, the least you will get is an ear full and a ticket because it is really not a recreation park. They think you are driving on cultural resources when you get off the road here. Probably are though. So, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this fella really was.

The Gila National Forest offers some great outdoors experience! (this message brought to you by Miller Lite)
Yep, I cut my hair last month... :D
So, here is Krista coming out the "other way" while Tad was reviewing the situation back at the washout.

Of course! We had dog action on this trip. They loved running the creekbed. Especially the wet parts.
