If you're going to buy a $3500 white elephant buy the real elephant. You'll at least get to eat the meat and then well....get to sell the hide on EBAY too!

What a weirdo listing. What did he SAY in the listing that eBay didn't like? And what's up with all this free stuff that may or may not work.
Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
For less money, I'd get Edelbrock's MPFI.

It is actually an ultra cool looking setup...can't beat eight chrome velocity stacks poking through the hood for the visual impact...check out the old Can Am race cars, for example. While it's probably not very streetable...it's likely worth the money if you're building a hot rod AMX or Javelin.

Yeah, saw that and it's pretty sweet. It's period correct. It would go nicely with your factory 4bolt main aluminum block 401.

and why would there be when you can pay, what is it now, $2700 for an edelbrock kit?

It's about the nostalgia, really and if I was building a hot Javelin, had the dough... I wouldn't hesitate to buy that for it. Four down draft webers with manifold don't come too cheap either.:D

Its not ment for a jeep.
Its actually a pretty **** sweet setup for an AMX. They were used in race only applications. Take a bit of work to get working right (no different than multi carbs). Its similar to a setup ford had, and similar to the multi-carb intakes of the era (cobras came option with 4 weber DCOE's in a similar configuration).
This is not for a daily driver setup, or a jeep, etc. Not sure why people are complaining on price, it seems in line with what it should be IMHO.

That's a pretty cool setup, if I were building an AMX or similar AMC racer with a big 401, that I wanted to have somewhat period correct, I'd buy that efi over the Edelbrock. If one is building a super AMC racer, they can probably afford that setup easily. Of course if I ever get to build the modernized GW I want to someday have, I'd use the Edelbrock setup.

i'm in process of a hot javelin, working with a famous mopar builder.... I'd love to have that, however, it equals my entire 4oh1 build budget  but :drool :drool :drool
