1980 CJ7 4.2 I6 i need to know where i can get the ignition module, also i think i remember something about them on the wags, something bout you can get them for free if u turn in your old one??????? need to know as soon as possible

I think it is the same as a FSJ at that time. Autozone Advance pep boys napa all have the module. Autozone or Advance will be cheapest. Should be a ford module with the blue on the box @ the connector.

Nope, never heard anything about a free module, only a warranted return when you bought one new. They are indeed same as FSJ. I think you can get them for under $20 at the 'Zone.
