Took a trip to the So Cal desert a couple of weeks ago. Camped in Canyon Sin Nombre and took Diablo Drop over to Ocotillo Wells SVRA. Pretty fun trip. The drop off was sweet. Here's a couple of pics of the waggy and my buddys ZJ.

Awesome pics! Anza Borrego's a fun area, great camping too. Did you start to overheat at all?

I've done that one in a Suzuki Samurai and an Expedition (now THAT wasn't fun, tweaked a running board), both kept up with my friends modified XJ! Haven't had a chance to take the FSJ down there yet.

Only got hot on the way to the dirt throught the mountains. I've got a problem running lean with the stock carburetor. I really need to put my Holley back on. We scored a perfect weather weekend with the daytime in the low 80's and mid 70's at night. Diablo Dropoff and Diablo Wash are no problem in fsj's even with stock saggy springs. When the weather gets cooler go for it.:drivin:
