Where can I get a new brake light switch for 72 Wagon -- I checked Napa online. But can't find a part #. Screws into the bottom of the master cyl.

Mine is dead, and slowly bleeding fluid -- makes my brakes mushy too...

No brake lights in Houston will not get one far, at least with an intact rear bumper.

Thanks,

Mark

i had to convert to an elec switch on my 66. even with a nu switch the lights dint work reliable.

connecting the wires at the master cyl was the ez part. then had to find the wire that connected them to the turn signal switch and then spice the nu switch into that.

i made a hoky mount for a switch i found in the junk drawer.

this is an option if u cant find the OE switch.

Try Leon Rosser out of Bessemer, Alabama. They did not have the part in stock for me at the counter, but they shipped it to me six days later.
Sorry I don't have their phone #, but it should be available with 411.

I am sure NAPA would have it if you were to go in and talk to someone that has a clue. If not here is This One Here (http://www.eastwoodco.com/email/default.asp?T1=60309) :D

For future reference, the part number is Wells F4808. I found it at AutoZone of all places, the guy recongnized the old one.
