today is a hate the jeep kinda day...first off, i figured out today i been runnin' 5MPG!! :eek: :eek: i was wondering where my money went! it used to run around 9-10mpg. any suggestions on somethin to check? second my brakes. they are messed up...again. when hard braking, the pedal will stick and not let off the brakes. i could live with it before cause if i pressed the gas and lifted the back of it with my foot it come off. but TODAY, it took me 10 MINTUES to get it to let off. any suggestions on what the heck is going on?? thanks!!

Maybe brakes are draging and killing the milage .

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. One of the rear cylinders was locked up and shoes were pushing out. Also had a seized caliper on the front. It was fun flooring it to get up to 35!

if the shoes were locked would it keep the pedal pressed even if my foot wasnt on it?? my dad is thinking brake booster so i think were gonna replace it and see what happens

I had the same problem, my front driver's side caliper locked up on me
