Just wanted to share my first chance meeting of a fellow jeeper. I asked to go see the jeep my steering gear box came out of, he directed me toward it and me and the gf went to see it. One of the helpers came over said 'you can't beat the tank' (i knew this was a good guy at that).
Long story short I found a local resource of knowledge, as he was telling me some of the joys of our kind such as the two blower motors and the difficulty of parts. Also showed me a nice J-20 which he had dibs on (bastard:p )
Anyway just a good experience that I wanted to share, the gf didn't find it as exciting as I did)

You suck :D .

Not having to travel AT ALL for the Jeep show @ the fairgrounds, must be nice. One of these years, I'd like to coordinate my visit with my family there with the show. But I don't know if I'll be able to get a D44 through airport security!

Harry's is a **** good yard, I have only been there a few times, but they always have some full size Jeeps.

GWagg, where is the yard you went to?

Thanks, Tom

Burkins is way down in red lion, about 10 or so miles south of York, PA. It's a road i frequent b/c my gf's parents live down there.
