What would cause my brake pedal to shake...I have been chasing a vacuum leak forever, is it related to that...entire vehicle shakes like the great quake of 1906 when @ idle, in gear...any suggestions?

Vacuum leak is very reasonable.

A shaky leg! LOL! Does it shake under heavy braking or all the time. Vacuum would be my guess or maybe some seriously warped rotors.

it shakes when my foot is off of the pedal just driving around although it dissipates somewhat on the freeway...I am certain it's not the brakes as I just had them completely rebuilt (every part) about 6 months ago after the SAPO neglected them...but that's a whole different story...sounds like I need to spend some quality time with 'Woodstocks' vac system...thank goodness the old turd still has the vac sticker under the hood...thanks

Are you sure its from the brakes? The pedal has a bronze bushing that will wear out in the pivot. Then your pedal rattles around from side to side. Try wiggling it there can be alot of play in them.
