Where's the horse trailer that goes behind the camper? Someday I'll post pics of my collection.

hmmm..you get advised to declutter the yard of FSJs, and she clutters up the house with baby FSJs...there's some logic there I fail to comprehend, sir. :P

:hide:

hmmm Rowan would love to play with those..

The camper Jeep is purple. Does that mean there was a lot of repairing going on with that one?

Ethan... ohhhh Ethan... You could be smote upon for that. ;) That purple one is in real nice shape! We like the Tonka Jeeps. They require much less maintenance concerns... :D She also got a horse trailer. She bought one last year and it was the next size up. This one was complete with horses. Where is that confounded thing? ... ... ...

meanwhile, some pix from last year's crop...

That is so immature.... Unless they make a Tonka Wagoneer.

I'd be all over that like a hobo on a ham sandwich.

Cool, I used to collect those things too. Had to stop myself cause I kinda ran out of places to put them and realized I went alittle overboard I guess. I must have about 15 or 20 now, not to mention a few more downstairs in peices that I never finished restoring. No pics of any original colored ones, as I'm not home right now but heres a few I worked on that I found on my Imageshack page.

1960s gladiator pickup, its seen better days but I payed 3 bux for it.
http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/1699/ebaypic1kx4.jpg

and heres the after, I painted it a similar green to my honcho.
http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1001521em7.jpg

1963 gladiator wrecker repainted, no before pic but it was similar to my first pic.
http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1001500rh5.jpg
after I took that pic, I ended up finding a set of wheels/tires in almost perfect shape to replace those with.

another 1963 (the grill was molded into the front) this one was missing a bumper and a little beat up so I made it into a sweet trail rig, haha
http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/8797/tonkaas0.jpg
I made that bumper myself out of some steel tubing, and nails. It was a bit hard to weld cause even on the lowest setting I was burning through the nails. Needless to say, it took some patience. the wheels/tires are from an old dollerstore toy car and I riveted the "lift assembly" to the original axle slots so if I ever wanted to it could be returned back to normal and youd never even now.

My wife is gonna hate you guys very soon.

I already collect:
Tins, any kind; cookie tins, cigarette tins, cigar tins, etc.
G.I.Joe stuff
Old electronic test equipment
Jeeps(FSJs only)
Old boats
Old Motorola radios and assorted gear
And now that I have seen this thread, I feel the need to start collecting Tonka and other toy Jeeps.

Thanks

Flint, Krista, you guys suck. :D Your Rescue Jeep is sooo much cleaner than mine. Oh well....

It's evident that you have waaay too much time on your hands, judging by those "crop" photos!!! That's something *I* would do! LOL!

Oh well Ethan. That jeep rescue was $30 New In Box on d'bay. :D Abd the white jeep wrecker is near mint and it has all the little accoutraments that came with it originally. Stole that for $25.:p

Here's my collection of Tonka FSJ's. I want to thank Krista for making me start buying more of them. After camping next to her at Ouray and seeing her rescue FSJ, I was once again infected this strange disease

In addition to the 1:1 scale version (in my avitar), I've got a few little ones too....

http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee184/TonkaJ200/Tonkas.jpg

People often aske me why I have the crusty old cement mixer in the upper right corner. I just tell them it's because it still belongs to the original owner:D .

I have one that's not in the photo, it's a red pickup that rides on the seat of my J200.

If anybody's interested, I have printed sheets of the little Tonka logo decals for the doors. I'll be in and out because of a HEAVY workload right now, so if you contact me and don't hear back right away, be patient.

Nice collection. Is that a Graflex on top? I have a Sears Tower knock-off that looks similar to it.

It's a Busch Pressman that belonged to my Stepfather. I've taken quite a few photos with it. Black and white negs, color transparencies, and I have a Polaroid back for it too. It's pretty cool old camera!

I will have to get some updated shots. I have added the Corvette on the Trailer and the Snowmobile on a Trailer. These were all pulled by Wagoneers in the sets if I remember correctly. I have several more FSJ's and some other CJ's in the case with these.
