emissions legal?

Anyone know of an emissions legal exhaust systems? I have a 79 wag with a QT t-case, so I know thw only way to run a dual system is outside the frame rails (cough, hack) but I really want to run headers and a high flow system. I do not have to meet emissions laws here in arkansas, but I may be moving to washington soon. Plus, we all have to breath the air, so I figure run it as clean as I can. Any suggestions?
