I told you guys that I'd post up some pics if my install went ok....I think it turned out pretty good  . Oh yeah, all the panels that hold the speakers are stainless and TIG welded!!
very nice job.extremely clean.
arent the front speakers in the front a little to close to the "listener"and a little close together for the stereo effect?

You do lose out on the stereo effect but you still have the door speakers to get a little :D. Plus you can adjust the faders to mix the sound...If I can just figure out how to work the new-fangled radio! I wanted the rear speakers on the front of the rear fender wells facing front but I just couldn't make it work and still fold the rear seat forward.

if you flipped the sides for the inputs on the center speakers, each seat would get stereo..sorta.
pretty neat lookin though!

I have a nice pioneer that my brother gave me. It has been patiently awaiting the rebirth of the Waggie to be installed.

Yeah I agree, Nice clean install and it looks nice but too much sound near the ear of the listener, and too close to a heat source. Otherwise looks great. I will post some pics of my work up soon. I just have not had the opportunity to take some nice pics yet. (Besides that I enjoy the stock look, having things there that no one knows of, yet when they hear it they know its there they just dont know where!) Congrats again on your great work and install.

Hmmm....didn't think about the heat. I usually just run the defrost anyhow. I would think that since the speakers sit in the rear deck of cars and the sunlight hits them all day long, the heater that only runs sometimes in the winter wouldn't bother them that much.. but....
that remains to be seen :drivin: . Thanks for all the compliments!
Heavy metal: All I did for a template was take a piece of cardboard and cut it to so it would fit where and at the angle I wanted, then I used the pattern from the speakers to squeeze them on the bracket/template (not much room under there), then just ran some braces & tabs to mount it with. It has since went in the trash, sorry.

The system in my '79 Chero Chief is a bit less elegant but sounds friggin' great. I have 3way 6x9s in the doors and a "truck box" in the very back. The "box" has 2-10" woofers and some nice tweets in the top. It's driven by a little 140 watt Alpine CD deck. I can actually drown out the exhaust noise at hi-way speed. Oh yeah the exhaust in the ol' Chief is Heddmans into 2-30" Cherry Bombs mounted up between the body and the frame, **** thing sounds like a NASCAR when I mash the pedal.
I usually run the tunes at full blast when I'm out jumpin' things and racing against dirtbikes here in the Northern Nevada desert. :drivin:

Working on putting a marine stereo into the buzzard. Mud gets into the darndest places so it has to be submersion-friendly. Just finished added a 2" bodylift (needed the clearance for fuel lines) and a 2" longer shackle. 14" doesnt feel any higher than 10 until you go to add speakers to the doors. Puts them right at chest level! :D
spelling corrected ;)

Thanks!! This thing sounds pretty good too, you don't even notice the speakers being so close together bc of the ones in the doors! Jammin to some Bob Marley on the way to work puts me in the perfect laid-back mood to do NOTHING all night, LOL!;)

Looks very clean, nice fab work. I need to post pics but I made a steel box to hold two amps inside plus my Bazooka tube, I also removed the two factory rear speaker panels and fabbed two pods that face the rear speakers forward and then upholstered them. Sounds awesome. I used two 5 1/4 speakers in the front doors and two 6x9 in the rear facing forwardand my 8 inch Bazooka. I have a 250 watt amp bridged for the sub and a 200 watt 4 channel amp for the other speakers. Gets the job done.
