How's the new paint holding up to trail use?

paint has been holding up really good. Being wider than a baby jeep my fenders tend to rub pretty hard on some of the branches in tight spots which puts pretty good scratches on them. Its an easy fix though after washing at the car wash i just break out my spare can of chrome and its fixed looking as good as new in about 10 seconds :D and yes it is amazing country and it is always hard to leave and come back to work. I would stay out there for ever if i could an we have enough trails that you could drive them for several years continously and never have to do the same one. jeep paradise:fsj:

Cool pics! Looks like some good fun there.
We were kind of impromptu on the Iron Chest / Tincup thing...
There's talk of running out to CORE in a few weeks. Also talk of running Spring Creek soon...

i was at spring creek two weeks ago flipped my dirtbike trying to go up that rock wall would be nice to try it with a longer wheel base:D have to figure out my banging noise first though. When i have it in four low and really get on the gas going up any knnid of incline i get a really loud banging noise ever since i did the lift. I think i probably need a cv joint for the front drive shaft. Is this something i can just pick up at a parts store or is it something that i have to get fabbed by a driveline shop?

how much is it to run core?
CORE is $20 per vehicle/driver/day and $5 per spectator.
Read about it here (http://www.coloradooffroadextreme.com/).
I am running Spring Creek with a bunch of guys from colorado4x4.org this Saturday if you are interested. Here is the thread (http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=105504).
I was planning on running CORE the following weekend 9/29/07. Would be nice to have another FSJ out there since no one on CFSJA.org wants to go.
