Has anyone had any experiance replacing the evaporator core in a later model Grand Cherokee? 1995 to be exact. I have heard it is a $1,000.00 job at a dealership.
Thanks...

I have done several. Have to remove (or at least pull back) the dash. Yes, the whole dash, so its kinda labor intensive. Chrysler has an extended 7/70 warranty on the evap for all 93-95 ZJs. Lemme know if ya want more specifics.

It looks like I'll be doing it myself. The old Jeep has 132,000 on it. I'm under the 7 years but just about double the mileage.
No shortcuts eh? I would appreciate any details on the job. Thanks....
