I just had to let everybody on the board know that this afternoon, I heard my baby roar to life for the first time since I drove her home!

In the last 6 months, I've replaced all of the wiring(what a task, next time I rip every last inch of it out!), rebuilt both the front and rear brake systems, replaced all of the motor sensors, installed a new thermostat, and repaired the clutch.

I hooked the battery up, and turned the key...ROAR, the Chevy 350 roars to life. first try too. :D

Great job. The Jeep gods are on your side. What did you use for new wire? Bulk roles or a diff harnes.

I used an EZ Wiring hot rod harness. Great system! Gets rid of all the damm solenoids and switches and integrates them all into an updated fuseblock.

It's not exactly 'EZ', but it's easier than bulk wiring or pulling another car's harness in.

Now I just need to fix the steering(I haven't reconnected it since the body lift), and reinstall the chairs, though I'm tempted to take a Milk-crate ride :D

That's kewl dude. I just got mine back on the road after a body changeout. It took me a week to get it. Now I've got to find out why it's sputtering.
