I finally picked up the FSJ crewcab that Goldhammer built in northern Califonia at Hammer's place last weekend. I am very impressed with the work Goldhammer did and the cab is exactly what I have always wanted.

Project "Kujo" now begins.

This will be a browed crewcab M715 on a Chevy 3500 crewcab chassis. Cummins 6BT powered. Allison transmission, divorced rockwell tcase, and a spicer brownlipe auxillary transmission behind that.

This will be a road truck for towing duty and the emphasis will be on that pupose and not so much for 4 wheeling so it will not have lockers or aggresive off road tires.

I'll post pics as I progress on it.

I can't wait to see it. I have a buddy with a 6Bt in a late 70s Chevy duallie if you get stuck or want to see how it was done. I think it was 2wd though.

Why the rockwell t-case? Don't they have cooling issues if you go over 55 much like the NP200 did?

Should be an awesome project. Are you going to go DRW?
