If any of you have seen BJ's project Wagoneer I was just wondering what you thought of the "look" that it has with the 4 inch lift, 35s, and the bigtime cutting of the fenders.
I personally think it looks awesome... and now, of course, it has me thinking along the same lines with my Cherokee... it kind of has that "bulldozer" look... something motorcycle builder Russ Mitchell would probably like... lol
The only drawback would be gearing with tires that tall... but I love the way they cut the fenders to make them fit... and it would get rid of the rust I have there...

If I didn't love my Cherokee then ya...I wouldn't mind cutting it to pieces...but since I do...then noooooo way. If you have one that is rusted bad or already smashed then go for it. I like the look....although I do think cut open fender wells take away from the whole look of our vehicles. I guess it serves a purpose...

There was a guy up in WA that ran one like that, low sitting on 38s... had a 14 bolt rear axle and I don't recall what for the front. Great trail rig, but I'm partial to more clearance... such a pain to have to get out and use the chainsaw you know.:D
Wait... your "after fender trimming" pic looks like it's before the 4" lift... yeah, that looks better. Might be meaner with some M715 front fenders...

Wow kinda looks like my Cherokee, but I need to cut my doors to match and mine has no rockers left under the doors. So yes I like it, looks like he had a better time of cutting the fenders than I did , the guy before me used roofing tar and tin to fix all holes I went through lots of sawzall blaeds and grinder disks lol.

I am with you on that one...
I am not sure what kind of lift they have on it either. It says BJ's 4" and rear shackle flip...

It has the BJ's 4" lift kit for the 63-73 Wagoneers and we flipped the rear shackle and removed a rear leaf to make it flexier...
