Is there a Alabama FSJ club?
Also what are some good Alabama 4x4 message boards?

I've been wanting to have a get together at my house (40 minutes or so north of Bham) for awhile but haven't been able to work anything out. Maybe we can do that after it cools off and try to get something started. Bama Burden and I used to discuss it (has anyone seen him on here lately?).
How many folks from the Bama area would be interested in getting together after it cools off some?

I was up for a get together the first time, still up for it now.
As far as clubs. There are 4x4 clubs around, but as far as I know, there are no FSJ specific clubs. Mabey we should start one.

There is a fine Jeep-specific club that seems to revere FSJ's, but most members have baby Jeeps. Not exclusive to Alabama though. The majority of their members are from Alabama, middle Tennessee, and western Kentucky. And they do alot of trail rides! Great bunch of people.

I have classes on 4 more Saturdays, have my daughter every 1-3-5 weekends (though she would LOVE to see lots of FSJs)... but I will certainly make my home available. I have an acre and a half, plus a basement where I just hosted a family reunion, so I am equipped to have lots of folks at my house. I'll come up with a date and throw it out... maybe right after I get my lift kit... wink wink...
Sorry for the hijack on this thread...

I haven't been around much lately....too many things going on in the last 6 months, but I hope to be checking in more often. I'm still up for a get-together, but I'm getting married in 5 weeks so my fiance has me pretty busy on the weekends until then. send me a PM if anything is decided. I definitely think an AL chapter of the FSJA should be started.
JeepNOFEAR,
Check out the message board at CAOS4x4.com It's a great club and they are always having rides, especially around the Bham area. The message board also has a great classifieds section

Thanks for the sites. I've found some people that go to Auburn too so this should work out.

Hey man, good to hear from you!!
Let's say we make it sometime in mid October... just not the third Saturday! I have class the 6th; birthday party on the 13th; Alabama/TN on the 20th (I assume). How about the 27th of October?
Anyone up for a get-together October 27th in the Ashville/Oneonta area?
I'll also post this in a new thread.
