88 G-Dubya's ...4WD indicator

Do nay of you 88ers have a light ( blue,red ect) on the dash...as next to the High Beam light, blineker?

I read were some 84s ect have this.

Where is it suppose to be?

Ive been thinking about putting in a little light that says "your 4 wheel drive is broken" and it would just always be lit

My 88 has one, it's under the gas and temperature gauges. From left to right it goes: Brake, something, Emiss Maint, 4WD. I think it's yellow or orange when it's lit.

i think it goes seatbelt 4x4 and 4 lock
might be something else down there not sure will check later today

Interesting; the 4wd light in my '88 is green. I wonder if they changed the color of the lens for that indicator light sometime in the '88 model year. Anyone with an '89 or up light that is green, or are yours red as well?

You're right, it is green. The light in my TJ must be orange. Can you tell which one I take off road more?
