How many miles? Great engine but hearing it run would be a plus.

Well I wouldnt think that stuff would go for over a grand if you bought it....so depends on how many MPG your travel vehicle gets!!
hah
I could use a new 4.0 for my 315K miles 4.0 cherokee.

I'd drive 3 hours tops.
then I'd stick it in my 3800lb Rambler, not an FSJ, that's for sure :D

if your planning on swapping that motor into your YJ then you'll need an AX-15 and 231 that are bolted together. the AX-5 that is in there now will not handle the power of the 4.0 and the splines on the 231 behind the AX-5 are not the one behind the AX-15.

What I usually do is use it as an excuse to plan a road trip with family, whatever the distance.
That way even if the parts turn up to be useless the trip isn't wasted.

Drive? NOT! Ship it, it's cheaper. '94 4.0, good head for a 258 to make it a 4.6.

I am not sure about that, but I would drive pretty far if this engine was free:
