Fender Flares???

I was looking at a fender from an '81 waggy to put on an 81 j10 but the flare is wider on the j10 so just wandering how much trouble they are to swap?

Swap what, the flare?? or the fender?

The fender will fit, but it won't look right. The wheel well is smaller and the flare continues into the front bumper. Your bumper will then stick out about 3" on each side. You can cut the opening to match the wide trac fender and then attach the flare. I am not sure if you could use your old flare. It is welded on and might not be able to get it off without trashing it.

What about the door from the waggy to the j10

There is a another peice at the lower front of the fender that fills the space between the flare and the bumper. To change a Waggy fender to a pickup fender is a lot of work.
Best to find a pickup or wide-track Cherokee fender instead.
