Heya PAM & MIKKI! Hope your journey home is safe and brings high mpgs!

They came in Friday eve and we had some burgers & brats on the grill. Yacked for a while and crashed. Got better aquainted the next morning over coffee, bacon, toast & eggs. Yum. Then we picked out a halfway decent razor grill and one beauty ring for the Nebraska Honcho. Things got busy. Then off to town for a couple things. Oh My Mikki sure likes to shop! :D Went up to Mesa Verde and took in the Cliff Palace dwelling tour, then cruised through the mueum, took a peek at Spruce Tree House and headed off to back country to see Longhouse cliff dwelling just the three of us. Poor Krista had been under the weather for a few days and stayed home. Feeling much better today, Krista joined us all to a ride over to Ignacio and loaded a real nice J10 bed on their trailer. Next thing ya know, there was dealin for a fender and a flare (slightly wrinkled) for the front of the project. Then a door strip for holding the door panel on. Heck yeah, they brough somethin to the table. A hardly used Detroist Easy Locker for Ryan's endeavors and also 4 dozen ears of fresh Nebraska corn and 6 Runzas. Then we hit Durango Main St and did the shop strip. Did I say Mikki likes to shop? :D We stopped for lunch along the way. There was a nice dark brew consumed by a couple fellers too. It was fun! And the Qball cat here at la casa is missing Mikki too...

Here is their transport from Nebraska. Mesa Verde is in the distance in the top image. Pam got up and at it this morning after some coffee, changed the fuel filter and checked out all the vitals. I forgot our cam this morning for the trip and did not get a shot of them loaded up. :( There is a bright copper colored J10 bed chasing a white GW back to Cozad from Ignacio! Thanks Pam & Mikki for hangin out with us 4 Corners FSJers!

Like the new Jeep commercial on TV:
Have fun out there! :fsj:

I like the treatment on the white wag, nice contrast as opposed to the usual wood grain.

Flint, when did Wally grow a twin??

The paint scheme works with the burgandy interior.

The other blue GW is my father's contribution to the stables a couple years ago. It is parked and needs hydraulic work on the brakes.

Did we mention Mikki likes to shop? :p

She's also the Princess of talking men out of jeep parts! She went to get a box from ryan and left with pretty much a whole truck! She didn't take the cab, tho....... no brow.

Word to the wise boys..... watch your parts when that young jeepin lady starts batting her eyes at you.

It was fun to have you guys down. Sorry I felt so crappy. :(

I will have you know that I volunteered that rocker panel! :D Should be waiting for Pam and Mikki when they get back. (unless Alan has another project in mind for it :D)

Thanks to Alan for the "JEEP" potmetal emblem to replace the one that fell off Brutus.

Thanks Flint and Krista for the great hospitality and the parts. Ryan, thanks for the extra parts and the box. I hope you can put that locker to good use.

Trip home was good except for running out of gas in the middle of BFE. The truck also wanted to run a little hot if we run the air conditioner over 65 mph. So needless to say it was a long, hot trip. Therometer hit 100 at Julesburg.

Anyhow, internet at home is down. I will post more when it gets back up. Thanks again for everything.

Oh yeah, Mikki likes to shop in case you hadn't noticed.

Glad ya made it. Good times  Yup..A/C is a no-no when riding through BFE :P (that's why I yank the a/c from my jeeps) :P Good to know the parts will be used, they don't do any good just laying around, that's for sure.
