i was just wondering what the PC or i think it also stands for Pre cool does on my 82 wag.

Yep. Stands for 'Pre Cool'. This will turn on the AC compressor and get the evaporator cold without the fan running. I am not sure of the value of using Pre cool. Here in Arizona I get in the car. Turn on the motor. Crank up the air and at the same time open all of the windows (including the back window). Remove the sun shade the drive! After about 100 yards I start to close it back up. In theory I could use 'precool' during those 100 yeads to cool down the evaporator.

Oh yeah. sometimes I will open the fresh air vents too until I blow out the hot air.
