Which Of My Grilles Do I Go With??

Ok, so I am so confused, I just picked up the stuff for the rhino grille, and I can't decide if i should stick with my Razor grille or go with the rhino.
Here is a picture of it both ways (I just mocked up the rhino grille and the picture with the razor grille is before it was raised and stuff)

I'll be going from a razor to the rhino next summer when I can pick up my '64 J200 parts truck. So I think the I would go with the rhino but both are good looking to me.

The Razor grille is by FAR the best looking FSJ grille. I'm thinking of de-rhinoing my '63 J300 in favor of one :)

I would also say the Razor. I am a big fan of the Rhino, but that Razor looks awesome..

If mine had started with a razor, I would've kept it - but I've got an ex-muscle that is now a rhino and an ex-final that is now a razor - they both look great! I've had too many opportunities to post this pic lately, but it works, so here it is again!

That's sorta my thoughts too. Now that everybody has one even on the packing crate GW's the novelty has worn off. Just too common now...<yawn>.
I always thought it looked a little puny on the WT's anyway.

I have 4 Rhinos (all natural born, thank you very much...) and one Final Edition and I vote RAZOR!

Keep the Razor and sell the Rhino to fund more parts that you need!

I'm in the same boat as you. I can't decide either! It seems like the rhino's get more money than the razor, so I might sell the rhino and buy something more useful for the truck. I took a perfect boobie grill to the junkyard about five years ago. It hung on the wall there until it closed down. If I just keep them both around long enough, they will probably both get used. I've straightened both of them a few times!

I thought I had a muscle grille on the '79 but after seeing that helpful chart it turns out I have a pig nose grille. I want to keep it because it came with it and those are the memories, but then there's its blatantly non-Kosher name! What do I look like, that I'll just eat any pickle?! Oi vey.

Both look good. I had a Rhino and sold it (fair price). Now I think I will go Rhino if I can find one cheap, or I will make one using some mesh type material. Full width grill will not be going back on vehicle.

This is an easy question! Keep the razor grill and then buy another J Series to put the Rhino on ;-)

I forgot about the Wags cheese grater grills. Never seen one added to a truck but love the art deco wrap around running lights from the early 70's Wags with the cheese grater. :thumbsup:

I like both but how hard is it to change from Razor to Rhino? Need a Rhino "hood" but is a bolt out then in swap or is it more involved than that?

It took me about 10 minutes to takeoff my razor and bolt on the rhino. There were a bunch more things i had to do to make it look nice (take off some mounting points for the razor, stuff like that) but I made it functional. You do have to unbolt one piece on the front of the hood to make it work for the rhino though.
