My J20 is in desparate need of new shocks. Any recommendations out there? Would air shocks in the back be a good idea or not?
Thanks

get air shocks only if you plan on towing stuff alot. if you want adjustable shocks like you can do with air ones, look into Rancho 9000s. they're kinda pricey, but if you've got the geld, why not? :D
we might need a little more information. What do you use the truck for? Do you have any lift? Price range? Do you want a soft shock, firm shock, medium shock?

I use the truck for hauling and pulling mostly. Looking for a medium shock. I checked out the Rancho shocks and the new RSX one sounds like the right one.

I like the rancho shocks. I've always had good luck with them.

Sure...BUY MINE! I have a set in the shed that are just sitting there, dreaming sweet dreams of compression and extension (oops...that didn't read right!). They can only be used with a lift, though--3 to four inches. They're Doetsch Techs with around 100 miles on them that I got from Veepster.
Speaking of which, where has Veepster been?
