Im looking to buy a hell creek lift for my 1969 j-3000 in the next week or so. Does anyone have any input on their lift springs?. Is it a real 4" lift spring or do you get more out of it?... Do they sag any after a year or so?... Any input is great!

Use the search feature. Janie, on here, has it on one of her rigs. might want to ask her.
where abouts in PA are you from?

I know Thom (KaiserMan) has one on his '71 talk to him he should be able to tell you some stuff about the lift. Use the search and you'll find a ton of information on it.
Also I have heard good things about the kit and about the customer service.
Plus its the only lift kit available for these trucks so you really don't have too many other options.

His rig is a '71, likely the same, but Thomas can tell you for sure. You might just have to change the front bushing if that one post is a different size.

Running the 4 inch Hell Creek on Tequilla. No sag, the springs are stiff, but I expect that to loosen up once I start pounding on the suspension more.
No complaints, the folks at Hell Creek were super to deal with.

I'm in the process of putting the 4 inch lift on my 1973 J-2500. I got the front done fairly easily, and it looks great. I am now in the process of doing the rear...which is taking forever because i cant get the leaf spring off the post. I dont want to cut it but i am running out of options now. been soaking it in pb blaster for the last two days.
Anyway, i would still recommend the springs.

Yeah Im a glutton (but its on the HC website, and my bloody knuckles/truck's story earned me some bragging rights:rolleyes: ).
The springs will be a bit stiff for about 500 miles, but will eventually succumb to gravity/weight of the rig (and soften to a firm ride). Ive really liked the ProComp 3000's, and recommend them over the 9000's (ride better).
Tom (Monsieur Laher) is a great guy, and is dedicated to getting it right (sent me several sets of rear springs to finally get everything right). Simply, you will NOT find a better suspension for the Kaiser era Gladiators:thumbsup: .
Almost forgot...your green Kaiser is lookin' awesome! Wish we could park them together for a photo!

Coming from someone who built a truck like yours, i definitely appreciate that. I was originally planning on making my truck an off road beast, but the more i see yours, the more i think that sort of thing would be a good route....decisions decisions.

troutville is atleast on my side of the country....but its about 500 miles away. haha. Maybe if i get my truck running the way it should be...haha
