SOA and rear shackle-inversion to get about 8" of lift. Definitely needed to trim to fit, but mine was a NT. The actual tire-size is 38"x13", though the nominal size is 325/85-16":

How many Ginsu knives did it take to trim those fenders? :D

Five minutes with a cutoff wheel...:)

They look ragged in that picture because of the mud, but they're actually smooth with a 3/4" lip that I bent into the wheelwell. I've got to open up the rear a bit more to make way for the bigger tires; those I did hack-up at a Jeep show with a sawzall for a demonstration on how to gain clearance for larger tires... :D

you'll need about 8-9" of lift for 38's without touching the widetrack flares.

i'm planning SOA on 2-3" lift springs i'm already running, and i should be able to run 37-38's.

12.50-38 TSL's on 10" wide wheels
4" lift springs in front with shackle reversal for another3" so about 7" lift in front. Rear was add-a-leaf packed with 4" blocks and a traction leaf between block and axle, sat level so about 7" rear also.
Front tires rubbed at rear of flare, I should have shifted the front end a little farther ahead when I did the shackle reversal. Rear tires rubbed on front edge of rear flares at full stuff. I couldv'e done the rear a little different, and probably would not have been a problem.

Man baja, you couldn't have found a Ford to do that to. Poor Buick. It appears the roof of a Buick is pretty strong.

All the pics of Wag's on 38's that I have are of hacked fenders. This one is SOA only, with fenders cut out. 38" hawgs.
