Do I have a steering prob?

This is hard to explain so hang in there. The 74 j10 drives and tracks fine no wandering ect.. I change the d-side axle u-joint the other day. The reason it was shot I could clearly see it was bad. When I'd turn slow hard left the rig would wobble/bind like it was in 4wd. After I change the prob still seems there. Is it my imagination or just the Qtrack? Or is the new Ujoint the prob.

Checked the E switch flip --- wait -- light and the reverse lite out. So I figure it's not in 4wd.

With the side front in the air I do have some l/r movement it seems like it's at the steering box. How much if any play should be there? Could I have other prlblems? I did change the wheel bearing while I was in there.

Anybody got any answers here? My J-10 will wobble from about 5 to 15 mph on ocassion. I have jacked up the front end and tried to move the tire, no dice. I have been thinking maybe a front U joint, or could rotted sway bar link bushings cause this?
