anyone know this bolt hole thread size?

may be a rare question but......on the front of my 401, just underneath my pass side cylinder head(underneath the center of the head), there is a raised casting on the front cover, there is one hole that is threaded, looks a little larger than 3/8's, but I dont know the thread pitch or size to be honest, nothing was bolted there to begin with, can anyone help? I wanna finish my oba install but I just need a bolt. Sorry no digital camera to take a pic of the location on the hole. Thanks in advance

On mine that is where one of the a/c brackets bolted in. Sorry I don't know thread size.

I believe it is a 1/2" coarse-thread hole, as it takes a 5/8" nut (Jeep actually used a stud in there). But then again, it could be fine-thread. I don't really remember.

it does look like a coarse thread, I will check it out again, thanks for the info, Dwain
