Whenever I go off road my 76 J-20 stalls. It usually happens when i hit a few big bumps or skid taking a turn. I have no clue what the problem is. Im gonna take it out this sat and ill see if it happens then. Any advice is welcome.

Check the floats in your carb. They may be set to high causing it to flood out over bumps or anything that may cause the fuel to slosh and make the floats move.

Also check for any loose connections in your ignition. (wires to coil and such).

more details would be nice.

Well my truck has had lots of work on its gas tanks. It used to have 2 tanks but i had to remove one due to it leaking and it got old having to fix it all the time. I dont know much about my truck yet seeing how all I know about it came from my dad and he is vauge in its history. I thought it was a problem with my carb but im not to familiar with carbs so that was just me guessing. Do you know a site where i can learn about carbs so i learn to tune mine and stuff like that. thanks
