Picked this one up 10 miles from home.
72 J4000, Not much to look at, but under the hood is a Howell injected 401 with DUI dist, Hedmanns. Also has a set of never mounted, sand cast Herman Lewis AMC valve covers, extra set of rust free fenders, tailgate,front valance, nice razor.

Has a front disc brake conversion too.

Somebody put alot of work into a truck with a bad body
I'll probably part it out as the cab is shot, worse than any I've seen. Rust falls out from several spots when you slam the door :D

Runs intermittently, I'm posting a question in the tech section...

Yep, it's aluminum, not mine though unfortunately, it's a rental.

Nice. Looks like an aswsome parts truck. Alost looks like a fixxer upper. At least it would be around here.

X2 almost fixer-upper. I've seen people revive worse. Nice score, lots of good parts. I'm sure it was uber cheap.

Well, it's not horrific I guess, I'll post a shot or two of the cab. Both sides under rain gutters have gaping rust holes. Rockers are totally shot, etc.

It would probably be a good offroad truck

Well, wasn't UBER cheap. Lets say it was a good buy considering all that came with it

would you be willing to part anything off the motor or are you going to keep it? I may be intrested in the DUI set-up, if not the whole motor if its a decent price.

Thanks, I'm going to keep the motor intact and put it in another truck

most rust you've ever seen on a cab... you didn't look very close at the copper/white J20 I have here.:eek:
