Do the two two barrels (MC 2150) and the holley 2 barrel have the same bolt pattern/size?

i believe so. holley has a 500cfm carb that some websites say is a direct replacement for our motorcrap carbs but somebody else might know a little more then me.

Same exact bolt pattern. I prefer the Holley myself.

i have used both.
in fact if u dont have a holley 2bbl, mine is up for sale. its the larger of the 2, 500cfm. but dont let that number fool u, in reality its the same size as the front half of a holly 750 double pumper.
the holley gave me the best idle quality and power performance but bad on mpg. vac reeding with the MC2150 was 20" while the holley, which is a little bigger than the MC2150, was 22" (GM350 eng)
the holley is also my choice of a 2bbl for offroad. i had probs with the MC2150 when at angles above 60*. at that angle the powervalve wood become uncovered and it wood lean out. it wood idle at up to 90 degrees prolly, but i coodnt power over a big rock at that angle.
the MC2150 NOT the 2100 is my choice for a steet MPG carb. it gave double diget economy and with the altitude compensator on the bac, was great for travel up/down in the sierras.
if it werent for the MCs powervalve being at the bottom of the fuel bowl id still be using it now.

...So the MC2150 will bolt directly to a 360?

on the back of the 2150 is a aneroid <sp> disc which moves with pressure of altitude, this in turn opens a valve that lets in more air under the carb to lean out the mixture ratio. almost as if u had a vacum line that u cood meter urself to lean out the mixture as u climb the pass.
