I see it for the vin, what about the DATAPLATE found on the front drivers side of firewall. The trim codes and the like!

If it's like the earlier plates, the only numbers on there that will help you, besides the VIN, are the paint and trim codes. Previous poster (jc_turtle) can maybe decode those for you from the parts book. The FSM should show the location on the plate for each number.

The rest of the numbers will be the order number, some factory internal number(s), and special request and order (SR&O) number or something like that. The order and SR&O number would be helpful if you could look up the paperwork at the factory, but I expect it's all been recycled by now.
