Oil Pump Dilemma

The oil pressure on my 89 GW runs about 40 at start up and drops to 30 - 32 after warm dropping to around 20 at idle. I just purchased a new oil pump PSA with both the high pressure and regular spring. I run 5W-50 synthetic oil. Should I use the regular spring or the high pressure one? Can I get by with just replacing the spring at this point with my old pump or should I go ahead and install the new pump as well? Decisions. Decisions. Any suggestions?

20 PSI at warm idle isn't bad, how is it at speed? I wouldn't be too worried about it at this point. If you're gonna replace the spring I'd stick with the regular one.
